Edcamp can be described as an unconference designed to meet the needs of individual teachers. While a traditional conference has presenters and sessions set up in advance, the agenda for Edcamp is created the day of the conference from session ideas offered by the participants. There are no presenters, everyone in the session collaborates on the topic for that session. If participants are not getting what they need from any particular session, they can move on to another that will help them meet their needs.
